Prevention
In our clinic we carry out preventive treatments (inoculation, intestinal parasitic and anti ecto-parasitic treatments) to prevent infectious and parasitic diseases.
We carry out preventive blood tests, ultrasound and x-ray scans.
Internal veterinary medicine
Diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of internal organs. As part of the cardiological visit, we also perform ultrasound and color Doppler of the heart.
Surgery
From routine procedures like spaying and neutering to soft tissue surgery, we offer a wide range of veterinary services and surgical procedures. Apart from the routine surgeries (neutering of dogs, cats and other pets) we also perform soft tissue and internal organ procedures, exploratory laparatomies, neoplasm resections, wound management and other specialist surgical or orthopedic procedures. In cooperation with Veterinary Faculty we perform orthopaedic and other specialist surgeries.
The owners of female dogs should know that the new discoveries in veterinary science suggest that spaying your dog before she is sexually matured is almost guaranteed to prevent tumour of milk glands. If they decide to neuter males they should do it before the cat’s sexual maturity to prevent its wandering and marking of the territory during the mating season.
Emergency
We take care of our patients 24 hours a day. There is always a vet on call in case of emergency.
Obstetrics
We pay special attention to pregnancy and birth. With females we determine the optimum mating moment, artificial insemination, ultrasound pregnancy diagnostics, C-section and other surgeries.
Dentistry services
Problems with teeth and oral cavity are common with dogs and cats. We offer our medical expertise and advice on prevention, remove dental plaque and polish your pet’s teeth. For pets with more advanced dental needs we offer dental extractions.
Ophthalmology services
We carry out ophthalmic evaluation, both intra and extraocular. We test occlusions of nasolacrimal ducts, measure eye pressure with Toon-vet, and do fluorescein and Schirmer tests.
